Maretti is a collection of expressive wines sourced from Italy’s most celebrated regions and crafted in partnership with passionate family growers who know their land intimately.

Rather than selling their fruit to large cooperatives, these families have embraced the opportunity to craft wines from their land under their own labels. Maretti celebrates this evolution, where tradition and innovation meet, and the spirit, generosity and individuality of each grower is offered in every glass.

Giovani Busi

Giovani Busi

Tuscany

Giovanni Busi is the driving force behind Maretti’s Tuscan wines, whose family have been crafting elegant, expressive Chianti Rufina from their historic estate since the 1800s.

After graduating from the prestigious Enological School of Conegliano in 1979, Giovanni transformed the family estate to now bottling fine Chianti Rufina that are “approachable in youth yet built to age gracefully”.

Today, Giovanni works alongside his son Clemente, continuing a legacy of passion, precision, and respect for the land.

Through Giovanni’s hands, Maretti’s Tuscan wines capture the true spirit of Rufina, poised, generous, and full of life, much like the man himself.
