Variety: Nero d’Avola
Region: Sicilia DOC
Style: Generous, supple and fresh
Winemaker: Janko Pelagic
Winemaking:
Fermented in stainless steel to preserve fresh red fruit purity, with controlled temperatures to retain aromatic lift. The wine was then matured in a mixture of large oak and neutral barriques to soften tannins while maintaining varietal brightness and regional freshness.
Tasting Note:
Ripe dark cherry, plum, and blackberry fruit lead, supported by hints of Mediterranean herbs and subtle spice. The palate is supple and medium-bodied, with smooth tannins and a gentle, rounded texture. A warm, sun-ripened core is balanced by fresh acidity, giving shape and lift through the finish.
